Athanasia Phelan 49, passed away peacefully on Wednesday,

September 4, 2024.

Athanasia was born on

December 17, 1974 in Astoria, Queens to Ilias & Georgia Filios.

She is survived by her loving husband, William and 3 beautiful children, Denise 20, Christopher 13, and James 10. Her brother Panagiotis his wife Maria and son Elias, and many cousins.

A devoted mother who always put her kids first. Very down to earth and a real person. Full of love and laughter. Courageously fought cancer for 2 years. She will be greatly missed and will always be remembered by those who knew her.
