Francis Vincent Peraino, III (July 5, 1974 – August 30, 2024)

Francis (Frank) Peraino, III, 50, of East Setauket, NY, passed away at home on August 30, 2024.

He was born in Huntington, NY to Frank and Josephine Perainoand is survived by his daughter, Corianna Lipira, his mother Josephine, his sister Charlotte and two nieces Samantha and Hannah, his godparents Joseph and Virginia Stelmack, cousins Joseph (Siobhan) Stelmack and their children Declan and Carolena, Michelle Stelmack and her daughter Natalia, and many friends and family whom he loved dearly.

Frank attended Northport High School and New York Restaurant School where he studied French cuisine and culinary arts. He began working at the age of 14 in a local pizzeria and has been a restaurant chef from New York City to Greenport, NY, most recently working at Stony Brook University. His favorite place to spend time was Northport Harbor, where he lived, worked, and shared many of life’s greatest events and memories with his family and friends. He was a devoted father, son, brother, nephew and cousin, and will forever be remembered for his kind, loving nature, his strong moral character and his contagious laughter and smile.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Peraino II, and his maternal grandparents Vincent and Grace Augello, and paternal grandparents Frank and Charlotte Peraino.

A viewing is being held from 6:00 – 9:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Commack Abbey, 96 Commack Road, Commack, NY 11725. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 20 Cheshire Place, East Northport, NY 11731.
