Rosario Bernales Ramilo, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Emilio C. Ramilo; and her loving sons, Paul B. Ramilo and his wife, Jacqueline, and Edward B. Ramilo and his wife, Jane, who were the center of her life and greatest pride. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends who will continue to cherish her memory.

Rosario, lovingly known as “Rose” or “Inday”, will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She had a generous spirit and a warm heart, always putting others before herself. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her legacy of love and compassion will live on in all who knew her.

She was a woman of deep faith who found comfort and strength in prayer. Her devotion to her beliefs guided her throughout her life and brought her peace. She found her greatest happiness in being with her loved ones.

A funeral service will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on March 27, 2026 at Commack Abbey.

A memorial Mass will be held on March 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Cyril and Methodius Church.

Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.

Flowers may be sent to Commack Abbey on the day of the service in her honor.
