Angelina C. DeFrancisci

Angelina C. DeFrancisci, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in Harlem, NY, Angelina devoted her life to building a home filled with love, laughter, and togetherness.

For 74 years, she was the devoted wife of her cherished husband, Alessandro, their love and partnership serving as the foundation of the family she built. Together, they raised their children in Commack, NY, filling their home with warmth, stability, and joy. Angelina is survived by her loving children, Alexander (Margaret) DeFrancisci and Claudette Jacques, as well as her nine adoring grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, who were the lights of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Carmella Calabrese and Don Dixon.

The heart and matriarch of the family, Angelina’s greatest joy came from time spent with her loved ones. Her kitchen table was a place for sharing her wonderful cooking, and stories, advice, and comfort. Her door was always open to those she loved.

Angelina also had a deep love for animals, especially family pets, and extended her kindness to every creature she encountered. Her legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering devotion and a true testament to the bonds of family she nurtured throughout her life.
