In Loving Memory of Frank Affronti
1949 – 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Affronti, age 75, of Dix Hills, New York,
who left us peacefully on May 19, 2025.
Frank was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Maria, with whom he shared 54 wonderful
years of marriage. Their love story began in high school and grew into a lifetime filled with joy,
resilience, and deep connection. Together, they built a beautiful life—raising a family, creating
cherished traditions, and sharing countless memories of laughter, travel, family gatherings, and
quiet moments at home. Maria was the love of his life, and their bond was the foundation of
everything Frank held dear.
He was a proud and loving father to Frank, Gina, and Michael. He welcomed daughters-in-law
Mindy and Keri into the family with open arms and was affectionately known as ‘Pop-Pop’ to
his treasured grandchildren: Alex, Avery, Aubrey, James, and Everly.
He was a loyal brother to Peter, and a dear brother-in-law to Gino, Rose and John, Frankie and
Bernadette, and Joe and Angela. Frank’s warmth extended to his many nieces, nephews, and
cousins, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Although born in Astoria, Frank’s heart always belonged to Brooklyn. He was a proud graduate
of Canarsie High School, where he played first base on the baseball team and—more
importantly—met Maria, beginning a love that would last a lifetime.
A tireless worker and natural entrepreneur, Frank built a successful career in the limousine and
town car transportation business. Known for his integrity, dedication, and kindness, he earned the
admiration and loyalty of clients and colleagues alike.
Family meant everything to Frank. When his beloved mother became too ill to live on her own,
he brought her into his home and cared for her with compassion and unwavering devotion. That
same selflessness defined how he loved and supported those around him.
Frank’s greatest pride was his family. He instilled in his children the values of hard work,
humility, and compassion. Whether cheering on his grandchildren at a game, relaxing by the
pool, or simply being present, Frank found joy in the simple moments shared with those he loved
most.
He was a steadfast friend, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh, and his presence brought
warmth and light to all who knew him. Frank will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love,
generosity, and strength will live on in everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
