Eng, Geraldine, age 88, of Brentwood, NY, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025.
Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 4, 1937, to Richard and Margaret (nee Wilson) Byrnes. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin, and her beloved siblings Richard, Margaret, Bruce, Dorothy, Mary Jane and Denise.
Geraldine is survived by her loving siblings Donald (Margaret) and Joseph (Pamela). She is also survived by her children, Geraldine (Leon), Kenneth (Terese), Alane, (Robert) Edwin (Melissa), Christopher (Karen)
She was grandmother to ten beautiful grandchildren (Leighann, Christopher, Michael, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Kyle, Jennifer, Jessica and Christina, and ten loving great-grandchildren), many treasured nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
She worked for many years for the Sisters of St. Joseph in Brentwood, NY. Never wanting to miss anything, she lived a long and full life. Her home was always filled with family and friends, a fresh pot of coffee, laughter and fun. Geraldine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
