Gilda “Gigi” Martinez of Peconic, NY passed away on 8/30/2025 in Mexico.

She was born on July 1st 1964 in New York City to parents Iran & Gilda Martinez.
Gigi worked at Signature Premier as a Realtor alongside Jesse Stein. She first started working on wall street, dabbled in acting, worked for Electrolux, owned and operated her own flooring & carpet business and brought her cousin Lisa into the business.
She thrived at every venture she started.

Gigi loved cooking, the beach, the sun, but most of all her fur babies… Georgio, Tobie, Francesco Luigi, TJ and her cockatoo, Pepe. Unfortunately, Georgio and Tobie also went up to heaven with Gigi.

Services will be held at The Commack Abbey, in Commack, NY on Saturday, 9/20 from 11-2.

Gigi did have a love of flowers, however, donations can also be made to The Little Shelter of Huntington to be used for those that cannot afford services for their loved ones.

Gigi was one of a kind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
